This program is intended for seniors experiencing difficulty coping with life stressors (e.g., illness, mild depression, isolation, loss, etc.) who would like to talk to a trained senior volunteer. We are now accepting referrals to our reconfigured Peer Support program.
The mandate of Life Unlimited is to help homebound seniors living in the West End to feel connected to their community. The West End Seniors’ Network provides four services through the Life Unlimited Program: Friendly Visitors, Daily Callers, Accompaniment to Medical Appointments, and Weekly Shoppers.
The West End Better at Home program is a project designed to help seniors with simple, non-medical day-to-day task so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes. Better at Home offers services subsidized on a sliding scale determined by your annual income.
