The West End Seniors’ Network offers older adult members programs, workshops, presentations, and events at Barclay Manor, offsite at other locations, outdoors, and virtually. These activities are a fun way to enjoy a hobby, learn, be physically and mentally active, and socialize with others.
All programs and events are by donation unless otherwise stated.
Programs and events are open to adults 55 years of age and older with a current West End Seniors’ Network membership. You are welcome to try an activity before becoming a member, space permitting.
For non-members, daily or weekly passes can be purchased from Barclay Manor reception:
$2.00 for a day pass
$5.00 for a week pass
For more information about becoming a member or renewing your membership and donations, please visit our membership page.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WESN programs may be running with reduced capacities, paused, held outdoors, or running virtually (on Zoom or by teleconference). Register for all programs, events, workshops, and presentations to be notified of cancellations.
Until further notice, masks are mandatory while participating in indoor programming at Barclay Manor.

If you would like more information, please call Barclay Manor at 604-669-5051 or email [email protected].
Computer Lab
Our Computer Lab is open for drop-in use. It is on the top floor of Barclay Manor and has 5 computers and a printer-copier-scanner available for members to use (fees apply).
Upon entering the Computer Lab, please write your name and when you arrive on the whiteboard. If all computers are in use and someone is waiting, there is a 30 minute time limit for the individual who has been present the longest unless someone is finishing up and offers their spot.
Printing
There is a printer in the Computer Lab that members may use while they are booked in the space. The printer prints on letter size (8.5” x 11”) paper in black and white. It can copy documents.
Printing is $0.10 per side. A fee collection box is located beside the printer. No change is provided.
If you require assistance with printing, please book an appointment with a Technology Coach.
If you require colour printing, please email your file(s) to [email protected] and ask for assistance.
Cancellations
While we avoid cancelling programs or events if we can help it, we need a minimum number of attendees to run each program and event. Register early if you are interested in attending and we will notify you if there is any change to the scheduling. Regular programs may also experience room changes for special events, which will be posted on-site.
We apologize for any inconveniences.
Thank you for working with us to help provide you with quality activities every month!
Waivers
Note that some programs require signing a waiver prior to participating.
