Better At Home
Better at Home assists older adults with simple, day-to-day non-medical tasks such as transportation to and from medical appointments, minor home repairs and light housekeeping so they can continue to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
Information and Referral
Information and referral helps match individuals with the programs, services and resources they are requesting. Volunteers work with older adults to address their needs.
Housing Navigation
This service provides older adults with information on housing options and support with finding and maintaining appropriate housing.
Peer Support
This service is for older adults experiencing difficulty coping with life stressors (e.g., retirement, health changes, isolation, loss, etc.). Older adult volunteers are well trained to provide confidential emotional support.
Safe Seniors, Strong Communities
This service supports the health and social connectedness of older adults by providing friendly visiting, check-in phone calls and emails, and grocery shopping and delivery services. It also supports older adults by providing prepared meal delivery and prescription medication pick-up and drop-off services.
LinkAGE Social Prescribing
This services enables health care providers to refer older adults to access appropriate local programs and services to support their health and wellness.
