This month we asked members a question that many of us have been asking ourselves:
“If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?”
Here’s some of the responses we received:
“New York City, my favorite city”
“I would go to Bhutan. It is a very different and the government tracks the countries gross national happiness. In certain parts of the country the paint phalluses on their houses to bring good luck, all due to a mad saint!”
I would go back to Coronado, California where I used to live”
I would travel to German, the country of my birth. I never experienced much of it when I lived there during my first 16 years of my life. Even though I have lived in Canada for the past 65 years, I do get homesick for the “old” country. You can take me out of Germany, but you can’t take the German out of me”
