The West End Seniors’ Network is proud to present, in conjunction with 411 Seniors Centre Society, Gordon Neighbourhood House, Qmunity, and South Granville Seniors Centre and supported by Vancouver Pride Society the annual Aging with Pride event. It is an opportunity for queer older adults and allies to celebrate pride. We encourage older adults from all walks of life to come forward and celebrate together in an inclusive environment during Vancouver Pride Week.
“I came on down because I, as a person who’s aging, really wanted to plug into and honour the community that I know exists out there, of elders of lesbian and gay and transgender and queer elders,” said Ginger Mason, 60, who recently retired.
